Hilton announced a partnership with iHeartRadio that will give guests access to thousands of local radio stations, music playlists, and podcasts.

IHeartRadio is a free broadcast, podcast, and streaming radio platform that launched in 2008.

The service will be accessed through Hilton’s Connected Room platform.

In January, Hilton announced a similar partnership with Netflix.

Hilton Connected Rooms enable guests to control room lights, temperature, television, and more from their mobile devices via the Hilton Honors app.

The hotelier currently has 15 properties with a total of 3,500 Connected Rooms in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New York, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington, D.C.

The company plans to expand the Connected Room concept to additional hotels including those outside the United States in the not-too-distant future, it told Frequent Business Traveler.
