DSC_0116 (1)United Airlines announced plans to introduce service to Curaçao with non-stop weekly service from the New York metropolitan area.

The move marks United’s return to the Dutch Caribbean island after an absence of almost a decade.

The outbound flight will operate Saturday mornings departing Newark Liberty International Airport at 8:33 a.m. local time to Hato International Airport, while the return flight will leave Curaçao at 3:30 p.m.

Curaçao is known for its capital, Willemstad, and the city’s pastel-colored colonial architecture, as well as for its beaches and expansive coral reefs that are rich with marine life.
