Swiss to Offer Non-Stop Service to Osaka and Washington, D.C.

DSC_0428Swiss International Air Lines announced new non-stop service to Washington, D.C. and Osaka from its hub in Zürich.

Daily non-stop service to the U.S. capital will start on March 29, 2020 and the flight will be operated as part of the airline’s joint venture with United Airlines, which also operates daily non-stop service from D.C. to Zürich.

Service between Zürich and Osaka will launch on March 1, 2020 and will operate five times a week.

Swiss will operate the D.C. service with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.  The A330 offers eight first-class suites, 45 lie-flat business-class seats, and 183 seats in coach.  It will use Airbus A340-300 aircraft with 22 lie-flat first-class seats, 47 lie-flat business-class seats, and 164 seats in coach.
