DSC_0370 (1)Marriott International announced plans to open a new Moxy hotel in Florida next year.

The 202-key Moxy South Beach – currently under construction – was designed by the architectural firm Kobi Karp and will have interiors designed by Rockwell Group. The lobby will feature an outdoor courtyard and a Cuban-themed bodega.

Marriott’s lifestyle brand was first launched in Italy in 2014.  The brand’s first U.S. property, located in New York City’s Flower District, was designed by Yabu Pushelberg and opened in 2018.

The hotelier describes the Moxy brand as being “fun, edgy, and social, all with a youthful spirit.”
