Destination Hotels Joins World of Hyatt Loyalty Program

IMG_7212 2Hyatt Hotels announced that one of its newest brands, Destination Hotels, will join its World of Hyatt guest loyalty program this week.

Six properties including the Quirk Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, and the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona, are the first from the brand to become part of the guest loyalty program, while two additional properties, the Elms Hotel and Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and the Hotel De Anza in San Jose, California, will join on September 10.

Additional Destination Hotels properties will join the program later in the year.

Thompson Hotels became part of World of Hyatt on March 28, 2019, Joie de Vivre properties joined on May 15, and Alila hotels with the exception of Alila Purnama and Alila Yangshuo, which are not joining the program became part of World of Hyatt earlier this summer.

The addition of the new hotel brands has added 60 hotels and 20 destinations to the World of Hyatt portfolio in cities ranging from Bali to Zihuatanejo, Mexico.

Thompson, Joie de Vivre, Alila, and Destination Hotels are all part of Two Roads Hospitality, a company Hyatt acquired in 2018. The acquisition placed Hyatt in 23 new markets. Two Roads was formed in 2016 with the merger of Destination Hotels and Commune Hotels + Resorts.
