IMG_7755British Airways pilots are set to strike September 9, 10, and 27 in a dispute over pay, the union that represents the airline’s pilots said.

The British Airline Pilots Association, which represents 90% of the airline’s pilots, said in July that 93% of its membership voted in favor of the industrial action.

The union said that airline had rejected “a number of packages” that it proposed to resolve the dispute, and that there remains a £5 million ($6.14 million) gap between the two sides.  It said that the strikes were a “last resort” following “enormous frustration” with the negotiations.

British Airways in a statement called the planned strikes “unjustifiable.”
