New corporate charge card issuer Brex announced additional new cardholder benefits, namely the ability to transfer points to six frequent flyer programs.

The programs being added are Aeromexico Club Premier, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon Air Miles, Qantas Frequent Flyer, and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer.

The addition gives cardholders access to flights offered by member airlines of the three major frequent-flyer alliances, namely oneworld, Sky Team, and Star Alliance.

The move is part of the company’s “ongoing commitment to make its rewards offering the most valuable in the marketplace,” said company co-founder Henrique Dubugras.

Brex offers cardholders several options to use their points including statement credits and travel bookings.  It offers points multipliers on purchases in several categories including software and app purchases, ride-hailing services, and dining.

The points transfer feature is being offered in partnership with Ascenda, a loyalty and rewards program company.  Brex is a charge card created specifically for start-up companies and is accepted at over 38 million MasterCard merchants worldwide.
