American Express Reveals Opening Dates for New Centurion Lounges

IMG_8721American Express announced dates for opening of several of the new Centurion Lounges in its pipeline. A total of six have been announced.

The Centurion Lounge in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport will open this November, followed by a new Centurion Lounges at London’s Heathrow Airport in the first half of 2020.

Also opening in the first half of next year is what will be the world’s largest Centurion Lounge, a story-story affair in Terminal 4 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.  With the addition of the JFK lounge, New York will be the only city in the world with two Centurion Lounges.

Also planned are Centurion Lounges in Concourse D/E at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, in Terminal C at Denver International Airport, and in the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, although firm dates have not yet been announced.

Travelers will have access to a variety of presentations depending on time of day, a bar, shower suites, restrooms, and high-speed Wi-Fi as well as spa and wellness services.

Access to the Centurion Lounge is limited to American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders.

American Express currently operates Centurion Lounges at nine airports including New York’s LaGuardia Airport, Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport, Miami International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and Hong Kong International Airport.
