IMG_8489 2United Airlines said Thursday it would enhance its PassPlus prepaid travel program later this year.

The changes will allow customers to manage activity and review how they use their benefits, all in one portal.

The airline did not specify when the enhancements would be available, however.

United PassPlus offers individual and corporate customers discounts, fixed fares, and other benefits.  It allows users to load funds onto Universal Air Travel Plan cards that can then be used for flights and purchases such as United Club memberships.

The airline said it plans to migrate the web interface of the program to its Jetstream platform in order to add new functionality that includes the ability to view real-time balances and activity, add funds, book travel, and renew PassPlus contracts.
