Norwegian Shifting Some Additional Oakland Flights to San Francisco, Cancelling 12 Others
Norwegian Air will shift flights from Barcelona and Paris to the Bay Area from Oakland International Airport to San Francisco International Airport at the end of October.
Earlier in the year, the Bærum, Norway-based airline moved its London Gatwick flight from Oakland to SFO.
The airline also announced it is permanently removing flights between Gatwick and Las Vegas as well as between Stockholm and Orlando from its schedule. It also said it will cancel ten flights that were slated to be on its fall and winter schedules.
The discontinued flights includes three to Los Angeles, namely Copenhagen, Oslo, Rome, two to New York, Copenhagen and Stockholm, and two from London Gatwick, namely Chicago and Denver.
Also included are Boston-Paris, Fort Lauderdale-Copenhagen, and Orlando-Oslo.
