Delta Hotel to Open in Las Vegas

DSC_0883 (1)Marriott International announced the groundbreaking for its first Delta hotel in Las Vegas.

The hotel chain acquired Canadian hotel chain Delta Hotels in 2015 for $135 million.

The new 24-story property, which is slated to open in 2021, will have 284 rooms and is to be located west of the Strip.  It is part of an 8.6-acre (3.4 hectare) multi-purpose development that includes 27,000 square feet (2,508 square meters) of shops and restaurants.

Guest amenities will include a rooftop pool, fitness center, and covered parking, while restaurant options will include a lobby dining bar and a coffee bar.

The hotel will offer 10,000 square feet (929 square meters) of meeting and event space and approximately 1,000 square feet (93 square meters) of retail space.
