Five stars for “The Overwhelming Weight of Happiness,” a new one-hour hilarious play, that ran last month at Katzspace, a new 50-seat theater in the heart of London Bridge.

The two-person play, written and performed by Molly Dooner and Tim Harris, will have its third short run in London again at the Albany performing arts space in Southeast London on August 5, 6, and 7 at 7:45 p.m..

The quirky original comedy follows Brendan, portrayed by Harris, as he walks through his life as a millennial in London, juggling work and love. He interacts with female characters, such as his dates and work superiors, all performed by Dooner. The pair’s comedic chops shine through for the full hour.

If you’re a fan of sitcoms such as “The Office” or “Absolutely Fabulous,” you’ll absolutely love this play. The show is perfect for all ages, and with a runtime of only one hour, it’s the perfect summer escape for theatergoers. Catch these professional clowns in their premiere show and watch out for where they end up next!
