Southwest Airlines and Chase Announce New Business Credit Card

DSC_0495Southwest Airlines and Chase announced a new credit card associated with the airline’s frequent-flyer program.

The Southwest Rapid Rewards Performance Business Card is intended for smaller businesses and offers a variety of travel-related benefits.

The card offers a 9,000 reward on each cardmember anniversary and 3 Rapid Rewards points per dollar spent on Southwest Airlines flights and the airline’s hotel and car rental partners. Another benefit is the reimbursement of a single Global Entry or TSA PreCheck fee.

Each cardholder is entitled to four upgraded boardings on Southwest flights per year and credits towards the cost of in-flight Wi-Fi.

It offers two points per dollar on Internet, cable, and telephone service as well as on social media and search engine advertising.

Other benefits include one point per dollar on purchases not made in the aforementioned categories, no foreign transaction fees, and the ability to earn tier qualifying points that count towards A-List and A-List preferred elite status.
