Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced it will open a second property in the City by the Bay next year.

Currently the Loews Regency San Francisco, the 155-key Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero will be located on the top 11 floors of the city’s fourth tallest building, 345 California Center.

The hotel will undergo a top-to-bottom renovation before reopening under the Four Seasons brand. It will offer an all-day restaurant, a spa, and a fitness center.

Loews will continue to manage the property for the remainder of 2019, at which time the hotel will close for completion of the renovation work.

Four Seasons opened the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco in the Yerba Buena arts district of the city in 2001 and the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto in 2006. The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley is slated to open later this year.

The new Four Seasons property will be located in the city’s financial district and within walking distance of Union Square and SoMa.
