Marriott to Open 13 Luxury Properties in Asia-Pacific in 2019

Marriott International announced plans to open 13 new JW Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and Luxury Collection properties in the Asia Pacific region in 2019.

The list of new hotels includes the Ritz-Carlton, Xi’an, which will open in June; the Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing, which will open in September; and Ritz-Carlton, Perth, which will open in October.

Other new properties include the JW Marriott Hotel Oufu, which recently opened, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Pudong, which will open in August, as well as the St. Regis Hong Kong, and the Iraph Sui, A Luxury Collection Hotel, which opened in Okinawa in January of this year.

The new properties will provide “highly contextualized and carefully curated experiences, allowing luxury travelers to explore their passions and grow on a personal level,” said Peggy Fang Roe, the region’s chief marketing officer.
