DSC_0373Marriott International and JPMorgan Chase announced a new, no-fee credit card on Tuesday.

The new Marriott Bonvoy Bold card comes with multiple benefits including no foreign-exchange fees; 15 elite night credits per year, which would qualify the cardholder for silver status with Bonvoy; trip delay reimbursement; and purchase protection. To celebrate the launch, Marriott and Chase are offering 50,000 points to cardholders who spend $2,000 in the first three months.

In addition, the card offers three points per dollar spent at Marriott properties, two points per dollar spent on other travel purchases such as airfare or other hotels; and one point per dollar on all other purchases.

“We know not every Cardmember wants to pay an annual fee,” said Leslie Gillin, who serves as president of Chase’s co-branded cards unit.

Founded in 1927 as Hot Shoppes, Marriott opened its first hotel in 1957 and now has over 7,000 properties in 131 countries.
