IMG_7574Hertz announced “Hertz My Car,” a vehicle subscription service.

Hertz My Car will be launched in Atlanta and Austin and will offer a variety of vehicles to subscribers. The new offering will have two tiers that include sedans, crossover vehicles, SUVs, and trucks.

Tier One includes full-size sedans, small SUVs, and trucks, while Tier Two offers luxury sedans, regular SUVs, and large trucks. Pricing for Tier One is $999 per month and Tier Two costs $1,399. Customers can swap vehicles within their tier up to two times per month.

The monthly fee includes maintenance, roadside assistance, vehicle damage, and limited liability protection.

The program will appeal to drivers, Hertz said, because it “offers freedom and flexibility from vehicle ownership and maintenance costs.”

The launch of Hertz My Car follows the introduction of My Hertz Weekend, a subscription program in Italy.
