Hawaiian Air Reports Jump in Traffic for May

IMG_9879Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for May 2019.

The airline reported that it carried one million passengers in May, a year-over-year decline of 0.4% from 1.01 million.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.53 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 5.8% from 1.45 billion RPMs in May 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 4.1% to 1.75 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.68 billion ASMs last May.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 87.3%, a 1.4 percentage point drop from 85.9% the previous May.
