Hyatt to Add 21 Luxury Hotels in Asia Pacific Region by End of 2020

IMG_7144 2Hyatt Hotels announced plans to open 21 new luxury hotels and resorts in the Asia Pacific region in the next 18 months.

The hotelier will open seven Park Hyatts, six grand Hyatts, six Andaz hotels, and two Alila resorts.

Hotels slated to open in 2019 include the Andaz Dubai The Palm in the United Arab Emirates, Grand Hyatt Gurgaon in India, the Park Hyatt Auckland, Park Hyatt Doha, and Park Hyatt Kyoto.

In 2020, Hyatt will open the Alila Dalit Bay in Malaysia, the Alila Hinu Bay in Oman, the Andaz Shenzhen in China, the Grand Hyatt Jeju in Korea, and the Park Hyatt Niseko, Hanazono in Japan, among others.

In addition to the hotels in from its luxury brands, Hyatt also announced plans to reflag the Hotel Vic on the Harbour in Hong Kong to the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong. The reflagging will be completed by October 2019.
