Hawaiian Airlines Sees Modest Increase in Traffic, Capacity for April

DSC00101Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for April 2019.

The airline reported that it carried 947,438 passengers in April, a year-over-year decrease of 1.5% from 961,431 in 2018.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.48 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 3.7% from 1.39 billion RPMs in April 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 3.9% to 1.69 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.63 billion ASMs last April.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 85%, a 0.2 percentage point drop from 85.2% the previous April.
