Delta to Add Non-Stop Boston-Miami Flights This Winter
Delta Air Lines announced plans for twice-daily non-stop service from Boston to Miami as well as an increase in frequency to several current destinations from Beantown.
The new service from Boston Logan International Airport to Miami International Airport will start on December 21, 2019. The airline will operate the flights using Airbus A320 aircraft with 16 recliner seats in the first-class cabin, 18 seats in the Comfort Plus premium-economy lite section, and 126 seats in coach. First-class seats are 21” in width and have a seat pitch of 36”.
The airline will also increase the frequency of year-round flights from Boston to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, as well as of seasonal flights to New Orleans and Sarasota.
“It’s been a tremendous year for Delta in Boston already, and we continue to keep climbing with new routes and frequencies,” said Charlie Schewe, the airline’s director of sales for New England.
Delta, which has doubled its presence in Boston since 2013, will add previously announced service from Boston to Chicago O’Hare, Newark Liberty International, and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports on September 9, 2019
