Avis Budget CEO to Step Down
Avis Budget Group announced that Larry De Shon, its chief executive officer, will step down upon the naming of a successor.
“Larry has played an instrumental role in positioning Avis Budget for the future of mobility, while navigating through unprecedented industry challenges,” said Leonard S. Coleman, the company’s chairman of the board.
The board of directors has formed a search committee that will be led by Lynn Krominga, who serves as chairman of the board’s corporate governance committee
Mr. De Shon will remain CEO until a successor is appointed to the position and will remain with the company until the end of 2019 to assist with the transition.
