American Airlines Appoints New Vice President of Customer Care
American Airlines announced the appointment of Alice Curry to the position of vice president of customer care. She is currently managing director of customer loyalty and insights.
Curry succeeds JonCarlo Gulbranson, who was recently promoted to the position of vice president of operations and crew performance.
In her new position, Curry will be responsible for the reservations department as well as departments that monitor operations and oversee flight availability, as well as customer relations and central baggage resolution.
“Alice’s extensive experience across American, combined with her passion for customer service, drive for continuous improvement and support for American’s team members, make her the perfect fit for this critical role,” said Kerry Philipovitch, the airline’s senior vice president of customer experience.
Curry started working at American Airlines in 1996 in the revenue management department and has held a variety of positions in departments that include marketing and in-flight dining.
