WestJet Begins Non-Stop Service from Halifax to Dublin
WestJet Airlines announced the launch of new non-stop service between Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Dublin, Ireland. The carrier will operate the route six times a week.
WestJet also began new daily flights between Calgary and Portland, Oregon on Monday. The route is the carrier’s first ever to the Pacific Northwest city.
Flights to Halifax Stanfield International Airport will depart at 10:20 p.m. and arrive the next morning at Dublin Airport. Flights from Dublin to Halifax will depart at 9 a.m. and arrive at 11:02 a.m.
Flights from Calgary International Airport will depart at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at Portland International Airport at 11:17 a.m. From Portland, flights are scheduled to depart 12:10 p.m. and arrive back in Calgary at 2:57.
WestJet will operate the new Halifax-Dublin service using Boeing 737-700 aircraft, while the Calgary-Portland flights will be operated by WestJet Encore, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
