United Unveils New Livery and Updated Logo
United Airlines introduced an updated logo and new livery on Wednesday at an event for employees and media at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The airline updated the Continental globe logo found on its aircrafts’ tails, removing the gold color while substituting light and dark shades of blue.
The “United” name will be painted in much larger letters across the fuselage, and the airline will paint its engine cowls a matching dark blue, replacing the current grey.
Finally, United is replacing the gold stripe below the windows with a blue swoosh. The swoosh is similar to the gold line on United’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 737 Max aircraft.
