United Appoints New VP for Investor Relations

IMG_8488 2United Airlines announced the appointment of Michael Leskinen to the position of vice president of corporate development and investor relations.

In this role, Leskinen will also be responsible before United’s strategic investments including its investment in partner airlines.

Leskinen joined United as a managing director in investor relations in January 2018, tasked with improving the company’s relationship with its shareholders.

Prior to joining United, he was an executive director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, focusing on the firm’s investment efforts in aerospace, airlines, and defense.

Leskinen graduated from Arizona State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in in 2007.
