DSC_0632 (2)U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May said that it is her belief that Britain will either leave the European Union with a deal or not leave at all, appearing to take the option of a no-deal or “hard’ Brexit off the table.

“The choice that lies ahead of us is either leaving the European Union with a deal, or not leaving at all,” she said in a video on Sunday.

Mrs. May released the statement to warn that Parliament needs to pass a withdrawal deal in order for Brexit to take place.

The move follows her attempts to reach an agreement with the Labour opposition party and its leader, Jeremy Corbyn, on a withdrawal agreement that members of parliament would pass.

Parliament has voted down the deal May negotiated with the European Union three times but it also said in a non-binding vote that it does not wish to leave the bloc without a deal in place.
