Toronto Pearson International Airport announced the start of an in-airport food delivery program operated by Uber Eats.

The pilot program, which the airports is the first in the world to utilize Uber Eats for in-airport delivery, is being offered to passengers departing from Terminal 3.

“Uber Eats’ partnership with Toronto Pearson is a perfect example of how our platform is creating unique experiences in unexpected places, beyond rides,” said Marcus Womack, who heads up airport products at Uber.

Passengers can use the Uber Eats app to order from a choice of five restaurants. The list includes Caplansky’s Deli, Fionn MacCools, Paramount Fine Foods, Smashburger, and Smoke’s Burritorie. Menu items that these restaurants offer include burgers, burritos, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and shawarma.

The restaurants are operated by HMSHost at the airport.
