IMG_7743President Donald Trump entered into the ongoing Boeing 737 Max drama with a suggestion for Boeing: give the beleaguered aircraft a new name.

The president made the suggestion on Twitter early Monday morning.

“What do I know about branding, maybe nothing,” he said in a tweet, adding “if I were Boeing, I would FIX the Boeing 737 Max, add some additional great features, & rebrand the plane with a new name.”

The 737 Max was grounded in March following the second of two crashes in six months that appear to have been due to flaws in one of the aircraft’s systems.

Some expect the issues to be fully resolved by mid-August. Last week American Airlines said it expects the 737 Max to return to the skies by then if not earlier, based on discussions with U.S. regulators.
