Mobile Passport Introduces Paid Version of App
Airside Mobile, the makers of Mobile Passport, announced a paid version of the app, Mobile Passport Plus.
Mobile Passport works by supplying arriving international travelers with a QR code after having them fill out an app-based copy of an electronic customs declaration form via the app. It can be used at over 30 airports and seaports.
The paid version of the app will add two features – an automated passport scanner and encrypted storage of passport files – to the current version.
The free version of the app will allow users to manually enter passport information and trip details upon arriving at the port of entry but won’t store passport information or feature the automatic document scanner.
Mobile Passport Plus will cost $14.99 per year
