Hyatt Opens its First Hotel in Algeria

DSC_0058Hyatt announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Algiers Airport in Algeria. The property is the first Hyatt hotel to open in the country, and the eighth in Africa.

Located in close proximity to the newest terminal of Houari Boumediene Airport, the hotel has 320 guest rooms and suites. The property also has dedicated airline lounges.

Dining options include the Palmette Restaurant, which offers Moorish cuisine; the Palmette Bar, which features regionally inspired small dishes and drinks; and the Palmette Market, a grab-and-go option which offers coffee as well as sandwiches, salads, juices, and desserts.

The property has over 10,000 square feet (949 square meters) of meeting and event space, including 13 separate meeting rooms.
