Delta Renews Partnership with American Express

DSC_0498Delta Air Lines and American Express announced Tuesday that the two companies have renewed their relationship with the signing of an 11-year agreement.

The move extends the portfolio of Delta SkyMiles credit cards through the end of 2029. The two companies previously extended their partnership in 2014 with a record-setting deal.

“Enhancing customer loyalty is at the heart of our business,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian, in making the announcement. “Delta and American Express are two great consumer brands that share a passion for service to our customers, employees and communities.”

The agreement continues complimentary access to Delta Sky Clubs for Delta Reserve and Platinum Card cardholders as well as Delta’s participation in the American Express Membership Rewards loyalty program, including the ability to transfer Membership Rewards to a Delta SkyMiles account.
