IMG_9776 (1)United Airlines announced the addition of Chase Pay as a payment option for purchasing airfare online.

Chase Pay is a digital wallet that was launched by JP Morgan Chase in 2016. It allows customers to use their smartphones to pay for purchases in a store in lieu of presenting a physical debit or credit card. The digital wallet can also be used to store payment information to speed up online purchases.

Chase Pay is currently available on United’s website. The airline plans to add Chase Pay capability to its app later this year.

In addition to Chase Pay, United accepts the Apple Pay digital wallet for purchases made using the United app with a billing address in the United States. United also accepts multiple online and mobile payment platforms including Alipay in China and PayPal worldwide.
