Hawaiian Airlines Records Modest Increase in Traffic and Capacity for February

The airline reported that it carried 870,538 passengers in February, a year-over-year decline of 3.3% from 900,109.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.26 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 2.3% from 1.23 billion RPMs in February 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 2.8% to 1.49 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.45 billion ASMs last February.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 84.5%, a 0.3 percentage point drop from 84.8% the previous February.
