First Mandarin Oriental in Beijing Opens Doors to Guests

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced the opening on Monday of the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing.

The new property is the hotelier’s first in Beijing.

The 73-key hotel features large, modern rooms with traditional Chinese elements, many with views towards the Forbidden City.  Dining options for guests include the Mandarin Grill + Bar as well as the more casual Café Z.  Wellness facilities include The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, which offers a variety of treatments, and an 82’ (25 m) indoor lap pool.

The hotel is in the city’s historic Wangfujing commercial district, and is part of the new WF Central mall which houses a variety of fashion, luxury, dining, and wellness establishments.
