Air New Zealand to Offer Non-Stop Service to Seoul
Air New Zealand announced plans to resume non-stop service to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport come fall.
The inaugural flight will be on November 23 and the flight will operate three times per week. Starting in late December through mid February, the flight will operate up to five times per week.
In announcing the new flights, the airline said in a statement that “inbound leisure travel from South Korea to New Zealand has grown significantly in recent years presenting an important tourism growth opportunity for the airline and for the New Zealand tourism economy.”
The airline will operate the new flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The flight time will be approximately 12 hours northbound and 11 hours southbound.
Air New Zealand last operated the service in the mid-1990s.
