Yotel announced the opening of the Yotel San Francisco on Friday.

The Yotel San Francisco is the hotelier’s first property on the West Coast and is located on Market Street on the border of SoMa and near the Moscone Center and the Powell and Market Cable Car turnaround.

The hotel’s rooms, which the hotelier calls cabins, feature the brand’s SmartBed gel foam mattresses, rain shower bathrooms along with heated towel racks, iron and ironing boards, mood lighting, writing desks with power outlets, and smart TVs that guests can cast to.  Half of the rooms are Sky Cabins, which feature sleeping areas accessible via a staircase.

Hotel amenities include a rooftop terrace, a co-working area, a gym, and a restaurant that will open in the summer of 2019.

Yotel has eight properties in the United States, including ones in Boston, Miami, New York, and Park City.
