Hawaiian Airlines Sees Higher Traffic and Capacity for January

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for January 2019.
The airline reported that it carried 958,548 passengers in January, a year-over-year decline of 1.5% from 972,672.
Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.43 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 4.8% from 1.37 billion RPMs in January 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 4.6% to 1.7 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.63 billion ASMs last January.
Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 84.3%, a 0.3 percentage point drop from 84.1% the previous January.
