DSC_1526Brussels Airlines announced new business-class and coach interiors for its Airbus A330 fleet as well as the introduction of its first premium-economy cabin.

Calling the result of the retrofit “a boutique in the sky,” the new cabins were designed in an Art Nouveau motif.

The new business-class cabin has 30 seats in a staggered configuration. Each seat will serve as a “lounge sofa” as well as a 79” bed when fully extended. Seat softness is adjustable.

Each business-class seat also has a 15.6” display and passengers receive noise-cancelling headphones.

Seats in the new premium economy class cabin are in a 2-3-2 or 2-4-2 configuration.  Each seat has a 38” pitch, a recline of 40°, and is wider than seats in the coach cabin.  Premium-economy seats have 13.3” displays, a large tray table, and individual USB and AC outlets.

The economy cabin offers seats with an ergonomic headrest featuring adjustable neck support, an individual USB port, and a 10.1” display.

The first Airbus A330 with the new cabin is scheduled to make its debut in April 2019.
