Air Canada to Launch Vancouver-Auckland, Quito-Toronto, Dreamliner Service on Toronto-Honolulu

IMG_0488Air Canada announced plans for new seasonal service connecting Vancouver and Auckland, New Zealand, and Quito, Ecuador, and Toronto as well as Dreamliner service between Toronto and Honolulu.

The Montreal-based airline will introduce the Vancouver-Auckland service on December 12. It will run through March 2020.

The airline will operate the quarce-weekly service linking Vancouver International Airport and Auckland Airport using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Thrice-weekly service between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre in Ecuador will be operated by Air Canada Rouge and will start on December 8, 2019, subject to government approval.

Finally, Air Canada will introduce thrice-weekly Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on its Toronto-Honolulu route starting December 14, 2019. It will operate until April 26, 2020.

The Dreamliners feature the airline’s new Signature Class cabin with fully lie-flat seats, mattress pads, and a menu by Chef David Hawksworth.

Air Canada Signature Service for Signature Class passengers starts when a passenger arrives at the airport. It includes airport concierge services, priority check-in and security clearance, expedited checked baggage return at the destination, access to the Maple Leaf Lounge, and early boarding.

Signature Class passengers departing Toronto-Pearson International Airport will have access to the new Air Canada Signature Suite lounge, which features pre-flight dining.
