IMG_3922Marriott International revealed the new name of its guest loyalty program, five months after having combined all three of its loyalty brands—Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest or SPG.

The new program will be called Marriott Bonvoy and it will officially launch on February 13.

While there are no further changes to the program, there are two new elite status tier names.

Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite will replace Platinum Premier Elite for members who reach 75 nights, and Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite will replace Platinum Premier Elite with Ambassador. This top tier will recognize members who stay with Marriott for more than 100 nights and spend over $20,000 annually.

In addition, the current Marriott Rewards mobile app will be updated on February 13 to become the new Marriott Bonvoy app.

Marriott and Starwood merged in September 2016, nearly a year after the deal was first announced. It combined the billions of data points for the 110 million members of its three guest loyalty programs into a unified platform last August.
