Hilton and Netflix announced the addition of the Netflix streaming service to televisions in Hilton’s Connected Rooms.

The move will allow guests to temporarily log into their own Netflix accounts to facilitate the viewing of favorite movies and programs.

Hilton Connected Rooms allow guest to control room lights, temperature, television, and more from their mobile devices via the Hilton Honors app.

The hotelier currently has ten properties with a total of 1,800 Connected Rooms in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New York, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington, D.C.

The company plans to expand the Connected Room concept to additional hotels including those outside the United States in the not-to-distant future, it told Frequent Business Traveler.
