Hawaiian Airlines Reports Increase in Traffic and Capacity for December

IMG_0024Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for December 2018.

The airline reported that it carried 981,500 passengers in December, a year-over-year decline of 1.9% from 1,000,646.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.46 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 5.1% from 1.39 billion RPMs in December 2017. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 5.6% to 1.74 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.65 billion ASMs last December.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 84%, a 0.4 percentage point drop from 84.4% the previous December.
