First Hyatt in Ethiopia Opens Its Doors

DSC_0982 (1)Hyatt Hotels announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa.

The new property is the first Hyatt hotel in Ethiopia.

The 188-key hotel will offer guests “delicious blends of local flavors” and “an array of live entertainment,” the hotel’s general manager, Heddo Sieb, said in a statement.

The hotel has 12 Regency suites, two executive suites, one Presidential suite, and one Royal Presidential Suite, the latter with four bedrooms.  It also has a Regency Club lounge that offers multiple presentations including breakfast, snacks throughout the day, and cocktails in the evening.

Dining options for guests include The Kitchen, which offers Levantine cuisine; Cascara Coffee & Cocktails; the Lobby Lounge, which serves fresh fruit and pastries; the Oriental, which offers barbeque and Asian cuisine; and the Metro Bar, which features live music.

The Hyatt Addis Ababa is located on Meskel Square near major tourist attractions including the National Museum.
