DSC_0720 (1)American Airlines announced it will give access to Apple Music to its passengers on domestic flights equipped with Viasat satellite-based inflight Wi-Fi.

Travelers who already have an Apple Music subscription can log into the Wi-Fi at no cost and stream music.  Those who do not have a subscription can try Apple Music for three months at no cost.

“Providing customers with more ways to stay connected throughout each flight is one way to show we value their business and the time they spend with us,” said Janelle Anderson, the airline’s vice president of global marketing.

Apple Music is supported on a variety of devices including the Apple iPhone and iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook, and Android smartphones.
