Alaska Makes 3 Executive Appointments

IMG_8937 (2)Alaska Airlines announced multiple executive promotions and appointments.

The airline announced the appointment of Constance von Muehlen to the position of senior vice president of maintenance and engineering, Ron Calvin to the position of vice president of inflight operations, and Jenny Wetzel to the position of vice president of labor relations.

Ms. von Muehlen previously served as chief operating officer at Alaska’s Horizon Air subsidiary. Prior to that, she was Alaska’s managing director of maintenance. In her new position she will be responsible for all Alaska maintenance and engineering staff.

Mr. Calvin, who began his career at Alaska Airlines 32 years ago as a customer service agent, most recently served as managing director of inflight operations.

New to Alaska, Ms. Wetzel most recently served as vice president of employee and labor relations at Kaiser Permanente.
