Aeromexico Sees Increase in Traffic, Capacity, Load Factor

DSC_0328 (1)Aeromexico announced operational results for December 2018. The Mexico City-based carrier saw a significant increase in traffic and capacity as well as load factor.

The airline’s total passenger traffic for the month was 3.78 billion revenue passenger kilometers, or RPKs, an increase of 3.1% from 3.67 RPKs in the same month last year. On the domestic side of operations, the carrier reported a 5.5% increase while the international side reported a 2.2% increase.

The carrier reported a total capacity of 4.61 billion available seat kilometers, or ASKs, a 0.8% increase from 4.57 billion ASKs in December of last year.

The airline’s total load factor for December was 82.1%, an increase of 1.8 percentage points, from 80.3% from the previous December.
