Reflagged Nylo Dallas South Side to Open as Canvas Hotel on New Year’s Day

Intrigue Hotels and Resorts announced that the Canvas Hotel Dallas will open on New Year’s Day.

Previously the Nylo Dallas South Side, the property will offer 76 guest rooms and suites. The rooms and public spaces have been renovated and redesigned under the direction of Studio 11 Design. The hotel occupies a structure that first opened in 1911 as an office building.

Guest rooms feature a “quirky” loft-style design according to the hotel. Details including high ceilings, pressed concrete flooring, and exposed brick.

Dining options for guests include two restaurants including Chef’s Palette, which offers small plates, entrées, and cocktails that emphasize local cuisine. The Gallery Rooftop Lounge provides 270° views of Dallas and offers cocktails and stations where local artists create works of art.
