DSC_0262 2Executive Group announced the opening of the EXchange Hotel Vancouver. The new property occupies a 32-story building designed by the Swiss Architecture firm Harry Gugger Studio. The new hotel encompasses an 11-story stone arched structure that originally served as the headquarters for the Vancouver Stock Exchange.

The 202-key hotel’s interior has an art deco-inspired décor. The original Italianate lobby ceiling has been restored as was the marble Howe Street lobby.

Each room features art murals, an inlaid herringbone hardwood floor, and marble bathrooms with heated floors.

Guests will be able to dine in Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean, a restaurant created by Chef Mark Greenfield.

The new hotel is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver and is near the convention center, the Gastown District, the Fashion District, and the Financial District.
