Apple Adds Indoor Maps for 7 Additional Airports

Apple it was adding indoor maps for seven airports in the United States.

The list of airports includes Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, and Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International in Missouri in the United States. It also includes two airports in Japan, Central Japan International and Tokyo Narita International, and two airports in Australia, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The feature has been available since iOS 11 was in beta but it only covered two airports, Philadelphia International and San Jose International.

The indoor map feature allows users to view terminals, gates, security checkpoints, check-in areas, baggage claim areas, information kiosks, as well as restrooms, restaurants, shops, and parking garages. It also shows elevators, escalators, and staircases.
